The sweetness of El Salvadorian coffees makes them amazing for espresso. Soft yet rich in flavour, with a pronounced intensity and creamy mouthfeel. This coffee displays all those positive qualities and is grown by one of the country's leading farmers, José Antonio Salaverria. José and his sons farm in several different areas around the Santa Ana volcano and separate higher quality lots like this one for individual processing. The cherries are picked blood red in colour, depulped, soaked in water and then dried, producing a beautifully clean and structured coffee.
